Biography
In 1971 I moved from Heerenveen to Groningen.
There I started to become more and more interested in art.
I became impressed by painters such as Willem de Koning, Karel Appel, Pollock and many others.
In the late 1980s I started painting myself.
Creating abstracts has since become my passion.
I paint purely from my feelings; I am inspired by nature, sun and sea.
I do not impose any restrictions on shape or color choice.
I paint to surprise myself and hopefully others.
My work is characterized by a colorful expressive visual language.
