Biography
Danny O In the first phase the intention was to learn how to cut stone, mainly French stone and bluestone. Due to a combination of circumstances it became a combination of stone and bronze. This showed the interest in history better.
In a third phase, due to health reasons and the influence of André Van Wijnsberghe, a switch was made to a combination of eggs and bronze.
The egg as a metaphor for the mysterious, the great unknown, the eternal journey. What came first, the chicken or the egg? Although I have to admit that there aren't many chicken eggs to be seen here.
Silence, loneliness and daydreaming are central to my works with a smile here and there.
