Biography
My name is Ewa Mróz. I was born in 1988 in Bystrzyca, a small village in western Poland. I come from an artistic family so my interest in art started early. As a small child I liked to go to grandpa's workshop to make fun and beautiful things from different materials such as wood, paper, plasticine, fabric, etc. that I gave to my relatives as gifts.
In 2013 I graduated from the Civil Engineering faculty of the Technical University, specializing in the construction of roads and airports. It was at that time that I decided to move to the Netherlands where my husband lived. Because I have never been able to let go of art, I have tried to develop myself artistically by renovating our house, building furniture and making decorations. In 2016 I moved to Germany. There, in June 2017, after 29 years of searching for my own artistic path, I realized that I only wanted one thing, and that was to paint.
Finally I had found an art form in which I could fully express myself, have fun and feel freedom. Since then I have been continuously painting to fulfill my dream and become a recognizable artist. I face new challenges every day and try to continuously develop myself. I am self-taught and that is why I experiment with different painting techniques. I am always looking for unexpected and surprising effects.
