Biography
My name is Jentske Schaap and I have been together for more than 20 years with a wonderful man and his two adult daughters. I have been working in healthcare all my working life (psychiatry, forensic psychiatry and care for the mentally disabled in all kinds of positions).
As a teenager I used to draw a lot, from skulls to horses. I loved doing that, but I stopped doing it again. Painting has been my passion since 2014. A painting workshop as a gift from Miaart was my driving force and to this day I still take the wonderful lessons from Mia. I have been taking the fine painting course at art Partout since 2020 and am taking a portrait painting course. Acrylic, oil paint, on canvas and on wood are fine products. I want to continue to improve and discover my own style. It is wonderful to do or make something that touches someone, that makes a difference and I find that in my work and my painting. I enjoy painting on commission, but also helping someone create something beautiful themselves. Something you can be proud of. What makes you happy....
