Biography
Kilynn Tan, hereinafter referred to as Ki, is a very versatile person and the founder of the C(lick) C(lick) C(ommunity), all parts of which can be found on this website. Ki was born in Jakarta, but grew up in the Netherlands. His father had studied as an architect in the USA, but he was mainly concerned with painting and photography. And photographing is also in Ki's genes, just like his love for music. Ki studied Chemical Technology in Delft, but his career has focused on programming. After carrying out various projects, Ki joined Philips in the early 1970s as Software Process Improvement Coordinator. He settled in Nuenen and after Philips he continued to work on educational software for primary schools as an independent entrepreneur. At the age of 12, Ki received his first SLR camera from his father and the love for photography has never gone away since. In 2010, Ki founded the Click Click Community for his Indonesian friends. He mainly photographed with Indonesian friends in Indonesia. But his beautiful and distinctive photos were also noticed in the Netherlands and in 2013 Jan van Buuren asked Ki to participate in “De Grote Paul”. That turned out to be the starting point for contacts with Dutch photographers, including via Zoom and Facebook, and from there CCC.Holland emerged. His special way of photographing and Ki's gift for making it accessible to others have grown into a large circle of friends who together make photography a valuable hobby in all kinds of ways. On CCC.FotoUnie.nl you can find all the components of which Ki is the lynchpin, the organizer and the creator. Special workshops that sometimes have a high learning effect and photo shoots with a high fun factor. The fun is always present because the workshops take place in a very relaxed atmosphere. The (post) processing of photos always receives a lot of attention and this is why the courses “From A to M” for slightly advanced students and “From N to P” for the more experienced photographer were created. For today's photographers, these courses are exactly what is needed in our digital age. You learn to take good photographs, not only in theory, but you also go out. And you will also learn how to give your photos that little bit extra by editing in Photoshop. Ki goes very far in sharing his knowledge and keeps no secrets behind.
