Biography
Born in Curacao of Lebanese parents. Lubna Chahal has always been looking for creative sales opportunities. During her childhood, she dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. After graduating, she pursued her dreams by attending the International Fine Arts College in Miami. During this study she came into contact with many art flows and was therefore able to discover her own creative side, including illustration and painting.
Inspired by expressionists such as Kadinsky and Alexei von Jawlensky and Fauvists such as Henri Matisse and Andre Derain, colors play a very important role in Lubna's works. Colors are even more important than the format of the works. Lubna enjoys working with fast-drying acrylic paint, her favorite material, which allows her to capture the right image of the times. All her works are completed in one go, full of emotion, catharsis, revitalization and purity.
