My name is Michel Tijsterman. I live and work in Arnhem. The great thing about painting is turning your ideas into paint. Continuing to perfect technique, style, use of color, dynamics, etc. is an ongoing process that I hope will never end. My work is characterized by bright and contrasting use of color. I try to complement the colors. In addition, the caricatured way of painting is undoubtedly striking. Although music is an important theme, my palette of subjects is wide. I like to incorporate small stories into my paintings, because I obviously hope that people can find a little more depth in my work. My work now hangs in various living rooms at home and abroad.
