Biography

Self-taught. Most of my work focuses on the oppression of the original inhabitants of the United States. In my works I also try to find the link between “the Indians” and “the wolves”, their joint struggle for survival after the invasion of the colonials, who seriously disrupted the harmony between “humans” and “animals” after they tried to impose their laws. Nowadays I try to go back to “my roots” and that happens in “Pop-Art”. I also try not to pin myself down on one style and I like the variety that depends on my personal feeling at that moment. For me, a work of art is successful if it releases any form of emotion or, in the words of artist Ludo Laagland: “Art is like a bullet, it hits you or it doesn't.”
