Biography
My name is Watze D. de Haan and I was born in Schaarsbergen (1947), a small town above Arnhem and I have been taking photographs since I was 10. After my working life in architecture, youth care and education, I have taken up photography intensively again in 2006, with a preference for cityscapes, nature and macro photography. In 1970 I moved to Amersfoort and discovered a beautiful city where time has stood still. Partly due to the purchase of a digital camera, I have found and captured beautiful places while wandering through Amersfoort. For me, Amersfoort is a museum per square kilometer and the black and white photos enhance that effect.
