Biography
Behind Artnoel.nl goes artist Christmas Hariri Shelter: living in the city of Groningen and graduated from the Minerva Art Academy (2004) and the Pedagogical Academy (2008).
As a 4-year-old girl, she already dreamed of becoming an artist and was always busy and interested in everything that has to do with art. She has always followed her heart and that is why she started her art company Artnoel.nl after art school in 2004. Over the years she has developed into the authentic person she is today.
The paintings are humorous, colorful, cheerful and full of imagination! If you look closely, there is a 'mistake' in every work: cityscapes that lack proportion, compositions that are incorrect, etc.
By playing with found things, old newspapers and different materials, the most wonderful designs are created! For each painting or illustration, Noël combines materials such as wax, pencil, Indian ink, ecoline, chalk, acrylic paint, newspapers, stamps, lacquer, spray lacquer, watercolor paint, paper, coffee and fabric. The mixed media design usually consists of several layers so that an interesting, original and exciting result is ultimately created!
