Standing Tall

Skeyes by Nick de Jonge

I’m Nick de Jonge, an airline pilot and aerial photographer with a passion for capturing the world from above. I’m fascinated by patterns in the landscape, shifting light, and atmospheric moments—especially tulip fields, golden hour, and fog—which continually inspire me to head out and photograph.

Through aviation, I experience ever-changing perspectives; through photography, I translate those moments into visual stories that reveal both the vast and the subtle. In 2009, I founded Skeyes—a reflection of seeing the world through eyes in the sky.

Alongside my photographic work, I give workshops and presentations and work as an ambassador for Sony and ASUS. Through Skeyes, my aim is to inspire others to see the extraordinary beauty that exists just beyond the horizon.
